A Conference Call

My writing partner and I made a conference call the other day to the director of development at a company that will remain unnamed. She likes the progress of our treatment and offered some final notes. We plan to do a little clean-up, then the thing will be forwarded to a development executive at well-known company.

The story we wrote is not one that I'm proud of or thought I even was capable of creating, but it may be what we call "the first step." I can't help but be excited, despite some inner-shame. I mean, whoa, I registered the treatment with the WGA. That felt official.
